These photos of Matilda were shot in harsh sunlight at Loveret in Pietarsaari. There were also nice shadows from the trees on the building walls. One of the phototips that is often given is that one should avoid shooting portraits harsh sunlight, because harsh sunlight gives unflattering shadows and so on. However, when treated well harsh sunlight can create more depth in the pictures.

Jag fotade dessa foton på Matilda i starkt solljus vid Loveret i Jakobstad. Det var också fina skuggor från träden på husväggarna. En av fototipsen en ofta får är ju att undvika fota porträtt i starkt solljus för att det ofta skapar osmickrande skuggor och så. Men om en använder solen rätt kan det skapa mera djup i bilderna.
