Here’s another streetstyle look I shot for fashionblogger Josefin in Turku City. I like how this pink building near to the Library Bridge enhances the colors of her dress and bomberjacket. It’s been a pleasure to work such a photogenic model. I’m really glad for this opportunity and our co-operation.
In the middle of September Nina and I went to Pictura‘s studio for a photoshoot. We listened to Britney Spears to get the right mood and find the right poses. The built-in flash in my dslr isn’t that nice. I have avoided flash lights as long as I can remember and depended on daylight so it was really fun to experiment with the studio flash lights.
I was running through photos for a new blog post and somehow I stumbled on these old photos. These pictures were shot over 5 years ago at my parents’ house. I think I was about 15 years old when I took this self-portrait. Ever since I got my own camera, I do take a lot of self-portraits. I just don’t publish them so very often.
I’ve always liked floral and really feminine clothing in fabrics as tulle, lace and chiffon. Every now and then I go back to this kind of theme, in my photos and my clothing choices.
A couple of weeks ago I met Josefin for photoshoot for the first time. It was a quiet warm day and we were located in the university campus of Turku. The first two pictures are shot in front of Turku Cathedral and the last one at Arken. The cobblestones give an old and cosy feel to the area but not so convenient for wearing heels.
